I have very sensitive skin and only use hypo-allergenic products, perfume-free, and oil-free. I'm more on the oily side so the tea tree oil really helps control that and helps with preventing breakouts! I noticed almost instantly how different my skin looked, it appeared smoother and more even-tone. Shea Moisture has a lot of great products, however the African soap line is best suited for people with acne prone skin. They do have a charcoal version instead of tea tree oil, which did NOT work for me. Charcoal reacts different with my skin, but that doesn't mean it won't for you. Overall i'm extremely happy as I was able to find a toner decently priced and that works.

I am not familiar with toner or how it works so I am not sure what I am supposed to expect from the product. I do know the benefits of black soap and tea tree oil and I purchased the facial wash/scrub that is a part of this product line and I really like that product. I have no complaints about this products thickness, consistency, scent or any other aspect. My face feels nice and clean and I like the look of my skin after I use the facial scrub and the toner.

The product itself is fine but I’m pretty disappointed that the sprayer came broken. I’m not sure how since the clear cap was on and it didn’t look smashed or anything, but it will not spray. I’ll pay a few bucks more in store for it next time to make sure it isn’t broken. Maybe should come with a different top than a sprayer.

I've used this product for many years and now that they have discontinued it in the stores I came here for it. I don't know what has happened but this product made my face break out so bad. It seems way more strong and as soon as I sprayed it my face started to burn a little. I won't be ordering this again.

I have been using this product for years.It balances my skin, and is a great pre-wash spray to get pores extra clean. I’ve battled acne for 30+ years, and I have found that this product really helps minimize/heal breakouts. Sugar and starches are a major cause of acne (gut), not necessarily poor hygiene. Your skin is a reflection of what’s going on inside your body. Pay attention to that. Food allergies? I do recommend washing your face once a day, but spray this on clean skin, and five minutes before you wash (gentle natural cleaner.)

I love this toner! I have smart skin, so I must change products every couple months, just so my skin doesn't catch onto me trying to help it from turning into a deplorable mess. This toner does a great job of controlling the oils in my skin, without drying it out. I think it is somewhat magical. It is pleasant, non-irritating, and generally very good for someone with combination skin who is also a dermatologists worst nightmare. Thank you!

Buy it! Buy the face wash too even the black face bar soap.. I've struggled with adult acne and I'm poor with the Shea facewash and toner and gelee moisturizer my face minus hormonal break outs has never looked better
