This will be my travel teapot. I have a similar teapot at home, but the body is glass, and I didn't want that risk. This heats quickly and will make those motel evenings nicer by heating large quantities of hot water. I don't like using the keurig (if there is one) over and over, particularly if I'm using bottled water. I have been known to make repeated treks to the common area if there is a hot water dispenser or an air pot full of hot water. The drawback is that the air pots are usually cooling off after hours of being filled and used, and I often end up emptying them out with my trips back and forth. They are not always using filtered water, either. The staff are always wonderful about refilling the air pots or other dispenser as needed, but I hate to be a pest.This tea pot will travel well. The water is very hot when it completes its heat process.

I work in a small office way above our break room, which does not have a stove or kettle. This 1.7L kettle has become a blessing to me. I put water in it when I get to work, so it is ready when I plug it in to heat up. It heats up fast and turns off when it is done. Great safety feature! It is a really good quality for the price! And such a convenience and it is cute! I am making mushroom coffee, regular coffee, hot tea and warm bone broth while I work. This is curbing my appetite for unhealthy eating while working too, which is saving money and helping me with weight loss journey.

I have had the black kettle for a few years. So when my daughter accidentally knocked it over from the shelves and it broke i knew I wanted the same brand but chose a white instead. This white is a bit let down. It doesn't hest up immediately and the lid takes a few tries to one before you can poor water in to boil. Besides those 2 let downs, I love it regardless, hence the 4 stars.

Love love love this kettle. I usually prefer metal items but this was so affordable, I decided to try it. I've had it a year & a half now & still works great! Heats up very quickly & the automatic shutoff is a great feature. I get so many compliments on it when I have company. The only negative is that the writing in the window with the fill lines has started to come off. I'm not sure if it's from the heat or because I keep it on the stove and steam with oils from cooking affected it. Was able to just draw back on so don't really consider it a problem. Would definitely buy again or as a gift!

This was exactly what I needed for my cubicle. It's quiet! I was tired of walking across the floor to microwave a cup of water for tea. Once it boils, it shuts itself off so you don't have hot water spilling everywhere. The glass tea kettle I have at home spills everywhere and never shuts itself off, unlike this one. However, this is just for boiling water and has no tea strainer.

Does an excellent job at heating the water quickly and a good capacity. It's a little tricky opening it to fill, the button latch is a little fiddely. They recommend heating a couple pots of water and discarding them before use. I did three. It still smelled so I did another adding lemon juice then one more to rinse. Perfect thereafter. Enjoy the lighting effect and thus far the shut off has been reliable. Like it, like the look of it and would recommend.
