I boughtt two of these because I needed a bench dog for my hobby. Old style dogs eventually tear up your bench where these cause no harm to it. They hold well, are well made and hold your work without a problem. Very impressed and I may buy more in the near future for large projects. This Company should look into making wood clamps with their technology. Excellent +++ Design and value!

I cut a lot of 2x and trim using lightweight portable workbench and cordless tools. These MFT style are absolutely some of the best value hold downs for certain tasks. They are fast, and easy to use. They work for certain tasks where otherwise would use clamps with a long reach, and the shafts act as bench dogs to help keep work straight. Absolutely love the design and the product. Good value.

I like that it has a short shaft and I can use it anywhere along my mini bench. Sometimes, I find difficult to get secure in the hole to put pressure down. I have 3/4 holes. I put side pressure on the clamp to get it to seat. Only used it a couple of times, I may its clamp more efficiently as I use it.

I have broken 3 of the $50 armor clamp on the right side of this little guy, and yes I went a little far on pressure but still, they are fragile whether specialists like to admit it… or not .I was skeptical of this little guy, because of the shape and the lack of review. Well… honesty… works just as great! And they’re cheap enough you can get a few to strengthen that pressure load! Happy woodworking :)

Well-made cam clamp but has short reach so two would be better. If only getting one clamp it close to where doing work. Nice snug fit in my Sjoberg dog hole.
