I personally do not purchase my Carna4 food bags from Amazon. Just because they’re so much more expensive on here than if you were to have a subscription with an actual pet food supplier. I bought one of these bags because I was afraid my food order may be running late. However it came right on time but I still wanted to see how much 3lb would last for my furbabies. I have 2 chihuahuas both 8lb I give them 1/2 cup and this lasted me about two weeks. With the big 22lb bag I get a good 3.4 months out of it so I think that if you want to try and give your dog this food to see if they will like it before splurging on the big bag then 👍🏼. Otherwise I would not recommend purchasing on Amazon because of how expensive it is and instead look for pet food suppliers online. Some places will even give you a discount of 15% just for having a subscription so it just makes sense to try and save especially with this food being so expensive as it is. Overall though my furbabies LOVE this food, one of them is very picky with her food but she looks forward to her bowls now🙌🏽. However it did take her a very long time to adjust which was fine but now I’m glad they’re both on the same food because it makes things easier.

My dogs didn’t care for this dog food they’re just to spoiled by me and very picky they wouldn’t even try They’re little hard nuggets with no smell at all. It’s very costly in my opinion since my dogs didn’t like it I donated my food I buy to our local animal shelter they always say well Lisa what expensive dog food do you have today.

I have a 4-month old puppy and when I first got her, I put her on Wellness puppy food. She liked the taste of it and she had firm poops, but oh wow, did it make her gassy!I would love to put her on fresh food, but my work schedule makes doing that regularly a problem. After doing some research, I found Carna4 and decided to give it a try. I started with this 6lb. bag just in case she didn't like it, but she loves it! It takes her longer to eat it because the pieces aren't small. There are feeding suggestions on the bag that says you can soak the food in warm water to make it easier for puppies to eat. I decided not to do that because by her taking her time to eat each piece, she's getting less air in her stomach while she's eating.She finishes all her food now, and I can (and do) use pieces of this food as treats to aid in her training. Her poops have gotten even better and she has no gas at all. I agree with what others have said about the price - it's excessive. I would say give it a try, but also caution that you consider that all dogs are different, and some pickier than others. Start out with this small bag to see if your dog(s) like it.
