After reading reviews of some of the bigger brand names I originally bought a GE product. After a week we needed to return this device, it made giant clanking noises and just did not work and didn't want to get stuck with a $$$ piece of crap. So, after searching for something else I came across this Aigostar 12000 BTU model. It had great reviews, the price was awesome for something of this size. We positioned it our 500 sq. ft media room, plugged it in and it worked right off the start. Four weeks later and we are still enjoying the comfort in our media room. I have to say that this room easily gets into the low 90's, an hour later our room is comfortable enough to enjoy and two hours later we are putting the fan on it's lowest settings. Out of curiosity I check the temperature of the air coming out of the AC with the fan on low, the results blew me away with a temperature that was consistently between 41 and 44 degrees! The only negative is the noise level but I am going to assume that all portable AC's are going to be loud so we just increase the volume of the TV a bit more.

This is the best portable A/C unit I found. It works really well and it’s energy efficient. I would’ve gave it 5 stars but it’s a little loud. I have in my bedroom and I couldn’t have going very long at night. I would put the timer on. The Wi-Fi remote feature is amazing. I could turn in on while I was sitting in traffic and come home to a cool apartment.I have a fan in the doorway of bedroom to push cold air into living room. The whole apartment 1200sq ft. Would be cool in about 5-8 min.The only other thing is the hose will get very hot so I would recommend only keeping it on for a couple hours then let it cool off for 15 min before starting it againI was told all portable A/C units have this problem but I don’t know for a fact.

Cools down my mobile home instantly and keeps the air at bay so it doesn’t have to work as hard to keep it cool as a window unit. I love the convenience of being able to move it to another room or area and the setup is easy.

This unit was half the price of all other similar units I priced. I decided to give it a try since I had the option to return it if it wasnt working correctly. Im so happy I tried it. I put this unit is a warehouse office and it has worked flawlessly. No issues with connectivity, no issues with accessing it thru the phone. I was able to attach it to the smart network in the office and I can control it by voice.The unit it quiet. I have it about 4 feet from the phone and is not heard over the call. It has a super quiet mode that makes it almost completely silent. Im super happy with this unit and will be purchasing a second one

Received item in September used until end of October. Unit stopped cooling at end of October. called rep at amazon. Amazon has 30 day warranty on shipping damages, they do not warranty product, so after 30 days, they direct you to manufacture. reached out to manufacture, No response. I do not recommend.Amazon customer service said they would help and they never did anything to assist, just poor customer service on Amazon behalf

Noise level is better than expected on high. Love the No drain hose feature. This unit uses 1050 - 1230 watts depending on the setting and where it is in the cycle. That's less than most smaller units use. Easily cools my son's room upstairs and helps cool the whole upstairs during these 107 days here in California. And app control works great!!

i like the air conditioner just can't get my iphone to connect with it and that is necessary for me.all specs and directions were followed.

A little noisy but overall good quality portable AC.
