Most importantly, it works. However, while the materials feel good, actually unplugging and plugging it a few times, it becomes apparent the build quality isn't great.

Headsets with separate mic and headphone jacks are hard to find. This splitter converts any single jack phone headset so it can be used on you desktop of laptop which may have separate inputs. The sound is very clean and static free.

It works

This should work for any computer or device that has separate audio out and mic input jacks. In this way you are able to connect any headset with a mic into this splitter and your (gaming) headset works seamlessly now with you computer, etc. There is no volume control embedded in the splitter, but it's not needed. This splitter works well for me. No complaints. Highly useful and recommended.

This is ideal if you have separate mic/headphone jacks on your computer but a headset with only one cable. Breaks out the mic and headphone in to two separate cables. Seems to work fine
