I bought this reclining wheelchair for my mom who is 88 years old. She needs to use it after her dialysis and use it at 45 degrees reclining but on the left hand side the shock is defective and wobbling, can't hold well.I returned the chair to Amazon and they are not accepted and told me to use USPS and it costs me $160. When I purchased it, I did not check who is the vendor and did not know if the product defective and cost me that much. I wish the vendor should absorb some of these cost since it is their product not meeting the standard. Please think twice when we buy something that is not sold by Amazon.

It was poorly packaged and, as with any large item I receive from UPS, it was damaged. The vendor customer service was excellent and offered an immediate return authorization and refund; however, the damages were repairable with the right parts. I described the damage and the vendor shipped the replacement parts. In addition, the assembly was not great as most connections were loose, but I spent some time tightening everything. With a little effort, it works perfectly and I’m pleased with the product and quality.

Now, if only my man would get in it!

This product was bought with a high level of expectation. It has major problems:1. The seat easily slides down (because it does not have a secure anchor). It has open screws that go to holes in the frame. The user almost fell to the floor if not for the intervention of the assistants nearby2. When in a reclining position it tips downward. So be careful when using that functionality.I had to return it because of these safety issues. It was also difficult to get my full refund. So many calls needed to be made to customer service. I tried bringing up the safety issues to customer service but was informed to contact the manufacturer.

I need a product just like this. I was about to but this but all the comments scared me a way. I hope the manufacturer will take these comments to heart and make necessary product and customer service improvements.
