I purchased this product over a year ago for a family member who was extremely pleased with the quality and so, when it came time for me to hunt out decent potting compost, I chose this one.This is delivered as a solid block - and it is quite small and lightweight, far easier to handle than a full bag from a garden centre. Take off the card slip cover and the compost block is kept inside a thick plastic bag - which can also be sealed up afterwards and used as a grow bag.To use, simply add 3 litres of lukewarm water onto the block and wait 5 minutes or so for the "magic" to happen. Gradually, the compost reveals itself and is ready to be used, and is just damp enough to handle and put into pots.This looked and felt like a decent quality compost and now I have repotted some indoor plants, I am looking forward to seeing them continue to thrive. I also have a lot of the compost left but it was simple to fold down the top of the bag, seal it and store it in a cupboard ready for my next tasks.Priced at only £6.99 (a reduced price) when I bought this, I find that to be a great price for 10L of quality potting compost. I will definitely be buying more of this in the future and can certainly recommend it.

This item is great. Needed something else besides Compost, or at least to mix with compost and this is it. Brilliant, it increases in size when added with warm water. Recommended.

I do not know how well this performs so far as growing seedlings are concerned but it is easy and pleasant to use. It takes a lot longer to soak up the water. After an hour in a warm atmosphere there were still some dry places, I finished up adding four litres and obtaining approx. twelve litres of moist compost. I recommend it and I am buying another two packs. And it does not use peat!

Great soil. Lovely quality. Plants like it very much. Good value for money. Was very confused when it arrived!😂 Was small and rock hard like a brick. I've never seen this before. Looked at reviews and realised I needed to add water. Brilliant. Would definitely order again

Wow. Didn’t realise at first what I’d actually ordered but when it arrived & I followed the instructions it was so much better than normal compost. Less mess & so much easier to use.

My first order was great. No problems. This time I ordered I am suddenly surrounded by gnats. Many of them. No idea why.Very annoying.Why is it so hard to find decent organic soil that is gnat free?Size: Easy product and lasted long first time. This time I think I will have to throw it out as for indoor plants. And don't want gnats in my food or kitchen.Sadly last time I will be buyingThis time also seems to take longer than normal to grow anything. But that's probably the weather.Shame. But time to move on now.
