Excellent book, very well documented and supported with the succinct biographies of the partners and collaborators that worked with magnificent George F. Baker for decades. I was intrigued by this personality, but after reading this book, my admiration for George F Baker was solidified. Current times, especially after the 2008 banking and economic crisis, would be better served if people with the character, principles, banking practices, and outstanding leadership skills of George F Baker would be holding the reins of our economic and financial institutions.
