We have a fearful scaredy-cat cat that for some bizarre reason will pee on either my bed, or the dog's bed, 2-3 times a year. Hard to address as the behavior is seemingly random and infrequent. While that may not seem very often, it is a ton of work and is usually discovered at bedtime. Gross, and not-fun.Last year, I bought a coverlet sized one of these for my bed, which worked well and looked like regular bedding. I decided to order a larger one so I could make the bed up with the pillows also covered - giving a more polished look and leaving them protected as well. I moved the current quilt (folded up) to the dog's bed.Quite satisfied with the quality and reasonable price as it gives me great peace of mind.

I recently adopted a very young puppy and a baby kitten, so I ordered the largest size of these to cover the top of my Cal King bed while they're paper/ litter trained. I was a bit skeptical when I received them because they're just like regular coverlets on both sides, so I had immediate doubts that pee wouldn't get through. Still, I gave them a shot and was amazed that they actually deliver! Both the kitten and puppy had a few accidents, but the pee stayed on top of the cover and I was able to immediately clean it off with baby wipes. The surface remained almost fully dry, and there was no seeping through at all. Yesssssssss. I had the puppy and kitten for a week and a half before I got these covers and, in that time, I did a year's worth of bedding washing and bed dressing, which is a lot of work, and I was at my wits' end. Then I found these covers, and it's made a world of difference! The kitten is now litter proficient, and the puppy is doing much better, but still has an accident now and then. In fairness to my beautiful Buttercup, it's happened mostly when I've been distracted with work (I work remotely) and missed her potty cues, but I'm not wanting to bang my head on the wall anymore when that happens; now I keep calm, wipe it off, and replace the cover. Easy breezy! I got five of these total so I always have a replacement ready, and can wait to wash two at a time. Happy mom, happy babies!

I should have taken a picture but when there is a puddle of pee on the bed, you can't think straight. Said puddle just sat right on top of the blanket. Did not absorb at all! I cleaned up the pee and spray various cleaning products and it still didn't seep through to the regular bedding. My new kitten has been having some bladder troubles so I bought these for my bed and 2 couches and I am so glad I did! They're pretty soft as well. Ive been sitting on the ones on the couch and it's not scratchy at all. Obviously not a blanket i want to snuggle up in bed, but not uncomfortable and the perfect covering for when I'm out and about and dont want to buy a new mattress every week. Highly recommend!

I bought this to protect my bedspread. It looks really nice and does the job. I had looked at others that were more expensive than my bedspread. Buying one of those didn't make sense. I will buy another if needed down the road.

We had just brought home a new kitten who, for some reason, kept peeing on our bed. We had to lock him out of the bedroom to get him to use his litterboxes normally. We bought this blanket along with a waterproof mattress pad, and the very next day, he did it again. Only this time, the urine stayed in a nice puddle on the blanket, and he evidently had gotten some of it on his paws. He's never done it again since!The blanket was so good at blocking the urine that I only needed to soak it up with paper towels. Nothing had soaked through, and the blanket wasn't even stained or had any smell after I'd just removed the pee. You would never have known anything had happened. (Of course, always wash a blanket that has been peed on anyway.)Our dog frequently jumps on the bed with muddy paws, and this blanket has been a godsend for that too. It's definitely worth the expense.
