Have You Seen Gordon?

My six year old granddaughter loves this book. She is a beginning reader (just completed kindergarten) and she can read about half of it. She enjoys finding Gordon within the beautiful illustrations. each time she "reads" it she discovers new hidden things.

I love how with humor and fun, Adam gets across messages of how owning control over your choices and respecting those of others can make for great friendships. There are new things to discover each time you read it. As a former Pre-K teacher, I recommend this book to talk about respecting other’s choices, being your unique self, being the author of your own story, and opens conversation on being a good friend. My own kids read it a thousand times already…and so have I!

Great message for kids (and adults!) + vivid, detailed illustrations = perfect children’s book!! Gordon teaches us to live authentically and to be proud of who we are. Every time I read the book with my kids, we discover something new in the pictures. Makes a terrific gift for all the kiddos in your life!
