Surprisingly Powerful
Considering the price of this blower, when I orderIed it, I was skeptical about it having enough power to do what I needed it to do. First time I used it, I was pleasantly surprised. I live in a high rise condo, with a very large balcony. I have wood deck tiles layed over concrete. I needed a blower that could blow off water after a rain, and blow off pollen that has started to accumulate already. This blower has more than enough power to handle the job. I used to live in a house surrounded by oak trees, and I've had several blowers, including the most powerful gas backpack blowers. I don't have to deal with leaves anymore, but I think this blower would probably handle the job as well as the more expensive electric blowers that I used to own. For what I need now, this blower is a really good blower, at a really good price.

Almost 1/3 the weight of my 2 cycle gas. Much easier for arthritis in both shoulders.
Presently able to use with double extended gutter blower kit to reach 2nd floor apx 20ft. Easy to handle device with and without gutter extension tubes. Produces enough cfm flow to easily clean gutters with 2 gutter kits attached. Operates within normal temp range with additional gutter tubes. Great product, durable, light weight, and produces plenty of air power!

Don’t get anything less powerful - or expect too much.
I ordered this 10 amp electric blower to replace an old 7 amp Toro that’s finally succumbing to the 2nd law of thermodynamics. I thought something that had a little more airspeed (up to 215 mph compared to the roughly 160 or so in the old Toro) to help dislodge obnoxious Sour Gum Tree droppings on my deck, patio and 100 ft. Driveway would make a difference. I was a bit surprised to discover this SnowJoe was smaller, lighter and really didn’t deliver any more speed than the Toro. Still, my wife likes the color and loves that it is smaller and lighter and also not quite as noisy. Still, it gets the job done and the price point can’t be beat (half the price of a similarly equipped Toro). I appreciate the 2 year warranty. I cannot imagine getting the smaller 6 amp version - this one is plenty small and adequate for path/patio/deck clearing (but not for leaf blowing in yards). I can’t imagine it would be very effective on snow much more than 1 inch of the powdery stuff we don’t get here on the east coast.

Decent for the price
After 20 years, by previous electric leaf blower finally gave out. I looked at the specs for my old one in order to buy a new one that is at least equal to the orginal. In terms of power, velocity, and flow rate, this SunJoe showed higher in power and velocity, a little lower in flow rate.Overall, it's about a wash, but I can tell the performance as a leaf blower is a little worse than the old one. While it draws more power, it seems most of that goes into overcoming the pressure drop of sucking are through a much smaller intake than my old one. I wish I had taken some pictures of them together to illustrate, but I pitched the broken one pretty quickly after I confirmed the new one wasn't a dud.The other big difference is the new one is somewhat harder to maneuver. The larger motor has a lot more inertia when it's spinning, so it takes somewhat more effort to twist it with my wrist as I sweep away grass clippings.Overall, it works decently enough, especially for the price. It's not something that I'm using every day, so it is tolerable for maintaining my yard. If I were using a leaf blower everyday or for longer periods of time, I'd probably looking for something more comfortable.

Great for snow!
Purchased this item after researching and finding out that to blow snow a unit like this has to blow over 200 mph. This one does. It’s quite effective at blowing snow, and is lightweight. The trick is to keep careful aim on the area you are clearing, since it’s easy to accidentally point at the snowbank and mess up what you’ve cleared! I’m sure it will be great for leaf blowing in summer.

Works fine
I live in Canada where we can get heavy snow...I love the reasonable price...its definitely better then shoveling... it is not as good as an EGO...of course which costs 3 times as much....BUT thats ok becuase the snow joe it costs alot less...and and does an adequete job...I actually prefer the cord...over the batteries....i did have to spend 60 dollars to get the outdoor winter cord,,,im happy with my purchase...i didnt break the bank...and i got an accpetable snow blower...and saves my back...

Great value. Great service.
If you are looking for a lightweight machine at a great price this is it. We've only had it a couple of days and have used it to clear our decks. Lots of power for our purpose. We were surprised to find a turbo nozzle, a pair of safety glasses and a hanger included in the package.I had a small problem registering the free extended warrantee and customer support jumped right on it. (Did it for me rather than put me through the form fill again!)A great value at $38.88cdn.!
