Arrived in perfect condition, arrived a few days earlier than expected. Lots of great recipes too!!

My wife just loves this book holder for her new signed edition!

This book combines two of Paula's best books together. Thus, this book is packed with loads of information.**Please note that there are not any photos...But then , when combining two volumes, I doubt that Paula had any room or money left to fit-in tons of photos too!Recipes are very easy to duplicate. Paula's writing style if fun to read.PS: Please note that Paula loves butter. Those of us that watch her TV show know this, as she is very open about her "love of butter". So plz do expect that many of Paula's recipes include butter. However, if you are watching your weight and counting your fat intake, I would advise to just cut the butter portions ,and that Paula's recipes will still hold-up well.(I've tried this method and it works).For those of you that love butter and are thin enough to be able to eat it often, then this cook-book will not alter your regular cooking style.Either way I think that any cook will find this cookbook helpful!

My family needed something new and creative for dinner. I have been watching Paula on the Food TV Network and have enjoyed her true southern cooking and hospitality. In this book she shares personal stories and the meaning behind several of her ideas and recipes. It's nice to know how the idea was created. I ordered this book because it stated it was a combo. of the other 2 books. With limited space, I like the idea of less books. My family has truly enjoyed ALL of the recipes served so far. The Mac & Cheese is the BEST I have ever eatten in my life. Several of my son's friends have eatten at my house and ask when they can come back. What a variety of recipes in this book. Simple instructions and common household products. You don't have to go out and spend a small fortune for one dish. This is a Must Buy. Two spoons up!!

My wife loved this book so much she bought a copy for her sister for Christmas. My wife has made several of the recipes and all have been great. Some of them are so good she has gotten tons of requests for the recipes.Note, as with most of Paula's recipes, most (not all) of the recipes in the book are high in fat, butter, etc. So, they are not very healthy. We eat healthy most of the time, but for special occasions and holidays my wife will go after taste instead of health. I guess we all tend to do that.Anyway, in my opinion the recipes are not for 'every day eating', due to the reason mentioned above. But, they are relatively easy to fix and definitely taste great.

I purchased this for 2 reasons. 1 - because I love Southern Comfort food and cuisine and 2 - to support a lady I think has been wronged in a particularly nasty way. We all evolve in our thoughts about social issues as we grow and get older. What we thought 30 years ago is not what we think today. What we said 30 years ago is not what we would say today. She has been punished unfairly and I hope we can all get past this for her sake. I wish her great success! Maybe the purchase of this book will help. This book is a great collection of the best recipes in the south and is clearly easy to read and follow.

Although Ms. Deen has written several cookbooks this one is my favorite. Problem is - I want to create too many dishes. So I guess I'll cook and share with my friends.

I'm not a Paula Deen fan - I avoid cooking mostly but she needn't apologize for telling the truth. I sent this off to a friend who will use it - bought it to show my support. This is just another shakedown - people looking to get their hands on her money.Checked out the table of contents and the introduction - the recipes look delicious and I'll enjoy eating them while someone else prepares them! The best of both worlds!

It has no the recipe that I was looking for

Loved her TV shows. This is a good book to browse. Maybe not the hightest number of recipes per page but an excellent addition to a cook book library. You have to love a lady who says 'fat is flavour'

The books recipes are not what I expected, uses too much store bought products such as cake mixes, biscuit mixes, very little from scratch. Disappointed due to the cost of the book
