Easy Peasy to Use!
I know the reviews for this product are really mixed, but I honestly can see why people hate it or love it.To put it together was more difficult than i anticipated but i probably shouldnt have smoked first. It took me 15 minutes to finally figure it out.Go easy and slow when cutting your soaps. Just rest your hand on it and apply slight pressure. You really don't want to put too much pressure on the string through the soap; it cant handle the tension if you do. Also, speaking of which, don't stand behind the cut while you are doing it. Stand to the side in case the strings breaks; don't get hit in the face, just don't.Make sure you tighten the screw through the wire. Hand tighten it but make it pickle-jar-tight. Like, I'm talking about just snug enough to annoy you.Its really easy peasy lemon squeezy to use. I just did not enjoy putting it together (the photos and instructions are not super clear).

Good Starter Cutter
The wire itself is sharp and strong but was kind of a PITA to put on for the first time. Its definitely capable of slicing through various soap bases, rather you work with glycerin or cold process soaps, without dragging or causing rough edges. I am a CP gal myself.I have to knock that mine came slightly crooked so my bars cut slightly crooked but hey, it's better than my cuts were before with the soap knife... and it was an affordable starting tool.Assembly was kind of a pain but it didn't come with instructions so I had to wing it and hope for the best lol.Overall I'm pretty happy. It's easy enough to use, easy to change out the wires, performs well, and cuts well.

Do Not BUY!
Although it’s cheap a total waste of money; impossible to put together mine broke instantly

Perfect for the Home Hobbyist
I LOVE THIS CUTTER!!! I make soap to use myself and to give as gifts, so my quantity is lower than someone who makes soap to sell. But that is also the reason why I didn’t want to spend $50-60 on a wire soap cutter. This little cutter gets the job done for me. Is every cut perfect? No…but neither are my bars, so it adds to the aesthetic. It is so much better than using a knife or a scraper to cut my soap. I highly recommend, if you are working on a small scale!

Soap cutter
I just received this the other day. I put it together today. The pic displays 4 grippy stickers and 6 wires. I did not receive the grippy stickers and only received 4 wires.Other than that it seems like it will cut soap ok.

Super easy to assemble and ready to use withing minutes! Although the width of the soap bar is fixed, I was able to use it to cut all the soap block (different mold width) that I have :)Can't praise it enough!
