Time will tell, but these seem nice and sharp and well balanced. Not inexpensive, but a good tool is always worth the bit extra if you can swing it.

My wife used this brand for her lab work cutting aged and thick grapevines for years and recommended this for my heavy-duty lopping. I have cut lots of old wood (which is more difficult than fresh) and fresh. Cuts easily. Old wood can be challenging if thick. So far so good. I've had good and poor loppers of lesser cost in the past: they either essentially broke (after a few years) or didn't cut well after a season or so. I happy with these. I'll have to see in five years.

Super Hebelschere. Durch den Hebel hat man eine enorme Schnittleitung. Allerdings sind natürlich dadurch die Kräfte an der Klinge sehr hoch. Ich empfehle bei dicken Ästen bei der Hälfte die Kraft zu unterbrechen, damit nicht so große Verspannungen auftreten. Damit hält die Klinge länger. Genauso wichtig ist, täglich den Schliff zu kontrollieren und ggf nachschleifen.
