This book was pure Pippa Grant gold!!! It was just what I needed in my life at the exact right time! I laughed out loud, and to myself, I fell in love with her characters and the situations they got themselves into, I fell in complete love with a crazy dog named Marshmallow, and I was touched by their love story.Hayes Rutherford is the last eligible billionaire around since his brother got married and his cousin died. He doesn't want to be, at all!!! He's tired of his family throwing what they feel are perfect women at him. All he thinks he wants is to be left alone, because he doesn't trust anyone to want him for just him.Begonia is recently divorced from a man who I would love to punch in the face!!! She spent the whole of the marriage trying to make him happy while not being herself, because he didn't like it. She has rented a mansion for 2 weeks in Maine to start finding herself again. Unfortunately, or fortunately, it's Hayes's house and wasn't up for rental. This is how they meet!! I won't give anything away, but their meeting is epic!!!I don't want to talk too much about the book because it really needs to be experienced first hand to get the full impact of Pippa's writing. I don't know how she comes up with these crazy characters and situations, but they work and they are brilliant!!!!I loved Begonia's twin sister, Hyacinth. The twin instinct thing was great!! I wasn't too thrilled with Hayes's family until I got to know them. They were the "put on a public persona" type of people, but they had good hearts. OMG, I can't say enough about a character who's not even human!!! Marshmallow the dog was everything! Loved him and his silly ways and how he immediately took orders from Hayes when he wouldn't even listen to Begonia!!The worst part about this book is that it had to end! I really didn't want to say goodbye to these characters. I sincerely hope we get to see them in future books. Thank you Pippa Grant for making me happy the entire time I was holding this book!!

I really missed this author's books!I’ve read many of her books and I love her humor and her style.This story was an absolute perfection!Begonia! The h’s name is Begonia, and it was so perfectly fitting! She is definitely entered my favorite h list! She was smart, kind, funny, awkward, a little crazy and a little sane.She was super character! The one you want to bring to life and keep her near you at all times!And well, I guess Hayes thought of that too.I love those grumpy angry H that all they need is just a little sunshine in their life.He was afraid and it was reasonable. He was guarded and all he needed was peace and quiet… but he also needed Begonia. Oh, how he needed Begonia!I have so much to say about this book and I don’t know how to write it without ruining your journey with this book!So all I’m gonna write is that – if you love a feel good book with great characters, funny dialogues, a rambling h (adorably so), a sweet charming grumpy H that will make you swoon and fall in love you really NEED to read this book!I finished it and felt like starting all over again! This book made me HAPPY!

I loved this book and couldn't put it down, UNTIL the ending. I feel the ending is juvenile and hokey. It was like a 5th grade girl was commissioned to complete the story. Very disappointed in how things turned out!

This was one of those books that I just couldn’t put down. Hayes gave me modern day Mr. Darcy vibes. I’ll definitely re-read.

The book did skip around a little bit but ultimately it was an amazing story
