This unit has been a life saver. My wife has recently been suffering from leg weakness. she cannot stand for more that 30 seconds before she starts to collapse. Several times she sags down to the floor and I can't lift her up again. Several calls to the Fire Dept for assistance. This unit has worked wonderfully. I'm able to assist her when she stands, then I rotate the two clam shell like seats behind her and she is safe and secure. I can then wheel her to the bathroom, bedroom, etc. Great device and great price. Additional info. The base legs with the caster are fixed, however they are wide enough to fit around the base of a toilet. They are narrow enough to fit under a wheelchair.

Lift is very sturdy. Assembly took me 1.5 hours by myself, a step or two would have been easier with two people. The instructions had a couple mistakes - saying to use short bolts when long ones were needed, and vice versa. Overall, it was very doable and I'm quite pleased with the end product. Have already used it with my husband. He had one issue with maneuvering his left foot under the shin guards because they sit so low (his left leg muscles are not fully recovered after having a stroke).

I wish I knew about this sooner! When my mom’s mobility went way down and we couldn’t use a walker I was panicking about how to get her from the bed to the bathroom. This Vive product is perfect because it helps her stand safely and is really easy to use. It’s actually good exercise to have her stand instead of being lifted or carried and it feels secure. Much easier transfer than getting into a wheelchair and it slides right over the toilet! It is challenging when she is unwilling or unable to stand up but it works well if there are two people available. And the metal rings you pull out to put the seat in place got bent out of shape, but we replaced them with cute Barbie key chains that are easy to grip. Very happy with this product! I wish I could do a commercial and let more people know about it!

The device works well and enables me to move my wife from room to room safely with ease with one exception. We have carpeting in the bedroom and the device is difficult to push and steer well on the carpet.

This machine was a life saver for my husband who was sent home from the hospital not being able to walk or stand on his own. I was the only person here to take care of him, and this gave me the ability to do that. It was a great devise to get him to the bathroom, or put him in his wheelchair, or transport him to the car. This was well worth every dollar I paid for it.My husband was a very large man, 6’5” and 275 lbs and this machine handled him very easily. It was well made and very durable, we used it for about a year with only one issue, a wheel lost its ability to spin freely, and was replaced right way by the manufacture.

This item was hard to put together and doesn’t work for my parent if I coiled get it apart I would send it back.

Shuttles patient effectively and safely. Reduced fall risk to near zero. Assembly is a little frustrating due to tight fitting poles/tubes.

Purchased for my wife because of trouble walking .Safe to transport her from bed to chair and other needs . Appears to be quality built and easy to assemble. Tools included. Fit and function good..
