GOLDSTITCH Women's High Waist Pleated Skirt A line Swing Midi Skirt

I am a size Large in most clothing, and Amazon suggested (as did the reviews) that I would be a Large in this skirt. I ended up also ordering an XL, and there was almost no difference in the sizing. The wide elastic waistband does not stretch much at all, so I ended up keeping the XL. I would guess that the difference in the two sizes was maybe 1/2" at the most. So, if you're debating on the size, it wouldn't hurt to go up. The skirt itself is unlined but a thick material that does not need lining. Because of its thickness, it can be worn in all seasons. I ordered it in black, and it's a true dark black. There are no labels in the skirt (aren't they required?), so its proper care is anyone's guess. I plan to wash it in cold water and hang it to dry.

True that there is no hem but the fabric is thick and it doesn’t seem to be a problem. I have not yet laundered it but I intend to do so carefully.

Thick material, it’s a very cute skirt but the material is much thicker than I thought. It is not sheer at all, only one layer.

Fits great! Looks great! Except everyone else thinks so too, I ended up wearing it somewhere and I had two other people with something similar.

I bought this skirt for my mother- for church & she loved it. The elastic isn’t too tight around her waist and it is a desirable length. I highly recommend🤍

I love these pleated skirts! I initially bought one in grey. I loved it so much, I ordered one in black as well. The fabric is very nice and not see through (even as light as the grey one is). They are well made and extremely comfortable. The waist bands match the fabric of the bottom of the skirt, which is hard to find on Amazon. For reference, I am 5’6”, 146 lbs., and I purchased them in size large. The length is perfect, which is slightly longer than mid-calf on me. The pleats do not wash or dry out (I wash them in cold water inside out with Woolite® and dry them on low) and they came out wrinkle free. I wear these pleated skirts with a tee, leather jacket, matching belt, and a pair of pumps for a night out! I wish they came in more colors like beige and white (hint hint GOLDSTITCH).

Great skirt , not to thin or thick material, no lining or any care label in skirt. Fitting says one size , but I think it’s more for a 8-10 uk size . Elastic waist but not that stretchy . Happy with purchase, doesn’t crease much .pleats stay in skirt very well , flowy material. Looks great on . Classic black midi length skirt. Easy wear , pull on and go , dress down or out for evening.

Nice and flattering. Seems good quality BUT, NO WAY this fits to a size 12. Small fit. If you are 10 or below, buy this. I am 10 but this is still tight but usable yet.
