This short, concise biography of Mary is well written and informative. Quite enjoyable reading. If you want a quick and enlightening read, this is it.

A sad tale of a misunderstood and badly treated woman, ahead of her time and gender conventions.An excellent summary of her life.

We all assume we know a great deal about Abraham Lincoln, but there’s not very much about the first lady “Mary Todd Lincoln” that many of us know. This hourly history shared good insight into the woman, why she was the way she was, and how and what she had to do to survive.

Interesting , but I don't think I would have liked the lady

Shocked by Mary's story but what a story for first wives. Not what one would think but a story to match her eccentric husband in its own way. One could say she was out of time and place but made the best of what she had. I think few could have survived so many ups and downs as MARY had. Thanks for an unexpected story!
