I'm not sure what all the fuss is about when it comes to building this cabinet. I'm 53 year old female and I assembled it myself just fine. The instructions are very clear. It did take a few hours but that's expected because its has a lot of pieces/parts. Like others mentioned, I had a lot of extra screws, etc. not sure why. The only issue I had was putting the bottom drawer in. You have to make sure the silver ball bearing slider is just right for the drawer to go in properly. Other than that -easy peasy!I really like look, the size, and the quality. Great buy!

This is exactly how it looks which is not always the case. Make sure you pay attention to the orientation of the pieces during construction or you'll have to take it apart halfway through like I did. That aside, when it was finished I was very pleased with it and it's already holding my boring files like a champ.I like the extra shelf and drawer. I use the shelf to pile up all the stuff I know I need to file but just don't wanna right now. If you push the pile back enough, the top of the filing cabinet kind of hides it so you can ignore it for the maximum amount of time.

Much smaller than I expected. 4 inches shorter than my new desk. Medium difficulty in assembly. Son in law put together and had lots of parts left. Seems ok though!

I like it a lot. Obviously it is not solid wood. It is MDF board and there are a lot of screws. If you are not careful, it is easy to overscrew and damage the board. Saying that, when done well, it looks surprisingly better than I thought it would. Obviously, when something is put together well it is going to look like better quality. You have to make sure your screws go in straight so everything lines up evenly. I would definitely recommend if you are willing to take your time to put it together and pay attention to detail you will be very happy with the outcome. I am.

What drew me to this item was the open top file area (with one small drawer and one large file drawer underneath) that I would store under my desk and I could easily roll it out to quickly access files. The wheels/casters are hard plastic and terrible. They are only about 1.25" overall (including the plastic cover around ~3/4 of the wheel) and I feel the small size is a part of the reason they are not appropriate for the product. One wheel wouldn't even rotate to roll with the other 3; it spun around and rolled fine independently, just not with the others. I have a thin area rug that this wouldn't even roll over to be able to pull it out from under the desk - which was the reason for buying it.I purchased a set of hard rubber wheels (like a good shopping cart) that have the same size screw fitting and are also 1.25" and they work beautifully (an extra $10 spent).I think I could have done better for the cost.Echoing others, I found this took an extremely long time to assemble.

Very easy to assemble and working perfect for small office spaces or home office. I love that it has wheels and I can move it anywhere.

Nice little filing cabinet

When I was trying to put the drawer on the bottom and pulled the drawer back out it came out with the metal barring on the slider and had to pull apart the slider to put the whole metal barring back on.
