I have been using normal rgb strips. I will upgrade to these in the future because I love how they look!

The lights are bright and look goods but there are not enough clips to really write any words with. And the lights does not cross over itself well. Other wise they are great.

Only 1 color at a time. Do not buy. Cheap. Trash.

I picked this because it seemed to be the only option at this size. The size is perfect, and the light and colors are fine, but there's significant flickering when the brightness is set at any level below 100%. The flickering is very annoying and limits the usefulness of the light strip.

The media could not be loaded. I've bought a ton of different RGB light strips and led lights and one thing I've learned is that the less expensive lights always show inaccurate pictures of the lights doing things they cannot do (but the wording is usually careful about not promising what the lights can't deliver.) This item is no exception. The box and the product description both show color patterns on the strip which simply aren't possible with this set. While i wish the pictures were honest, I don't really count this against them because literally every other cheap light strip markets themselves the exact same way. Setting aside that questionable representation of the product, I think these lights are actually good, for what they really do.The most important thing to know is that this light strip can only show one color at a time. There are no "rainbow" modes, or chasing marquees, or any of that. The strip will be all blue, or all white, etc... There are color changing modes, but they simply change the entire strip from one color to another (see the video.) For what it's worth, if you want strips with full RGB lights that can show multiple colors at one time, they will cost significantly more than lights like these because of the expense of building in a better controller chip and adding circuitry for every LED. Be wary of ANY cheap strip that implies it can do something like that.If you are ok with only showing one color at a time, then this is actually a really nice neon light strip, especially for the price. The strip is very flexible and easy to shape, and consistently bright from end to end. It definitely resembles a neon sign, and not just an RGB strip with points of light along the way. The colors are meant to be neon bright, so even with a choice of 16 colors on the remote, there aren't really any that I consider "deep" shades of blue, red, purple...The fading and blinking effects are ok but I prefer solid on or off. All controls are managed through the IR remote, which is pretty standard for lights like this.The strip is kind of a big "light noodle" and does not hold its own shape at all. It comes with 6 wall connectors, which is not enough if you want to form intricate shapes with the light. Then again, you'll also find that 6.5 feet is not very long when you start twisting it into shapes. If you want to do a signature or something really defined, you'll want more connectors and a longer strip or multiple short strips like this.If you know what to expect from this light strip, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Love the lights and the different colours. We have attached them to the back of the t.v. and they turn on and off with the t.v.. With the remote, we can change colours. The colours change the t.v. from looking like a black hole in your wall. I would purchase again.
