Setup was relatively easy accept there was a pop up box on my phone asking me about keeping my phone connected to the extender. Once I accepted the connection, my phone then connected to the 192.168.10.1 site.As far as opening the box, the label has 2 QR codes on it. If you cut open the box where you just cut the label at the boxes flap, then you you will cut through the QR code for the setup video. You can always just type it in but, why have the QR code there if opening the box destroys it.Also, because of the size and shape of the wifi extenders, when you plug it in, it is an impossible fit into the other outlet for any other plugs but the smallest. You can see in the 2nd photo that the extender fits right up to the third plug (the round one) and anything that requires the 3 holes in the outlet will not fit.Of course, neither of these 2 issues are deal breakers.How well it works I will see over the next few weeks.

This was as described, it arrived when expected, was easy peasy to install-almost, but not quite plug and play. Still, directions were simple and clear. One room was far away from base WIFi, and this little extender, just made the signal for TV, phone, laptop so much more stable! Thank you!Great Value for $$.

I've done my fair share of research on wifi extenders and repeaters. This one came up as a "best seller", but for the life of me, I can't understand why.I consider myself fairly technologically skilled; this installation should have been a cakewalk. It wasn't. The extender seems to connect to the wireless network, but when I try to access the extender via the 192.168... route, the page won't load. When I type in the address for tech support, I'm taken to a sales page that has no information other than the sales information. It does "allow" me to ask a question via email, but im not wasting MORE of my time emailing this company. Why is there no manual, even online? The allegedly-official video showing how to setup this extender shows a toggle switch for the power button (which this product does not have). I have tried to reset and re- set-up the extender a few times. It still only registers as "wifi extender" and the maximum speed it has shown has been 144kbps.I had such high hopes for this product, but all it has done is disappoint me...I will say that the signal DOES appear to go through walls well and has (what appears to be) a long range.

I don't usually write a review but this wifi extender is great. We have a add a room on the house with the original exterior brick wall. We could stream tv in there but it froze up a lot. No problems now with this!!
