Buxton Glazed Croco Double Zip String Along Wallet

So my old Buxton wallet was falling apart. I needed to replace it, and this is as close to the original (that I had for many years) I could find from any manufacturer. It is ALMOST perfect. Here are the differences - No divider for cash between credit card slots (old Buxton had divider on each side behind credit card slots); no outside zipper coin pocket; key ring inside is useless with my car's key fob. Even without a checkbook or phone, the wallet is full and hard to zip. The color red is really pretty, and I like the zipper tabs. I am sure I will get used to it, but I sure will miss the features of my ages old wallet!

The photo shows the type I have and wanted to replace with the same. When it arrived, it does not have the side zipper pocket as shown……nice wallet, but will return and keep searching…..

I read a lot of the bad reviews on this wallet and I had bought one and I was thinking there is nothing wrong with this wallet until i used it for TWO days and the credit card holder slots ripped off on one side (just one slot), but the card holders are not sewn so the cards can slide all the way to the bottom of the holder. one reviewer complained about that as well and asked how hard would have it been for them to sew the bottom. of each card slot and I agree. so i took everything out of the wallet and I am sending it back to amazon. that is what us Americans have to deal with, because almost everything is made in china is poorly made. yet the companies that have their products made in china could give a crap. our government has just about sold us to china. when i do find something not made in china but in another country (but not the USA) i actually get excited, something not made in china. how did that happen??? stay away from this product . even the high end items are made in china. i would gladly pay more for something that is made in the USA.

I liked the size. I've had one before and it lasted a long time. It's just right for me and not too expensive.

I had originally received the wrong wallet but I got the correct one today. It's a nice large basic looking wallet with a lot of space and comes with extras like a pen, a key ring inside the wallet and a cheque book holder (although do people still carry cheques?).I deducted a star because I find the material inside to be quite cheap feeling compared to the quality of the outside. I have a Buxton wallet currently that I've had for many years and the quality downgrade on the inside is very noticeable. I also find the little pieces of leather on the zippers quite flimsy and will probably rip off down the road. It came with a price tag attached to it that says $42.99 and I got for approx $27 and happy with what I paid. (I would not pay $42).
