Sarson'sMalt Vinegar 250ml (Pack of 2)

I didn’t know what I was missing! This is the best fish n chip malt vinegar I have ever tried! Smooth not tart, very flavorful. Cost a bit more but how often do you buy this kind of thing? Last a long time. Thanks Sarsons, you are making it right.

Well packaged. Like the glass bottle over plastic. A little leakage via factory lid to glass during international travel. Bottles on side for shipping. Not a problem for me as for personal use.

Shipped SO securely with its own box, bubbled wrapped tight and they're glass. No issues at all with breaking or leaking. I was really happy to have glass instead of plastic. Classic Sarson's taste. Great buy!

What more can I say? This vinegar was a disappointment. I'll try it one more time but probably it's going to be given away. I bought this for slightly more than the grocery store sells the cheap malt vinegar. It doesn't taste much (if any) better. My next step is to try some more expensive dark malt vinegar as the aficionados online recommend. Bad choice being a cheapskate. It's not like I spend a lot per serving for vinegar on my fish and chips. The right taste is the right taste!

I hate to say, but it might be better if you get the plastic bottles. These glass bottles although slightly better for the environment have tops that leak. Both leaked during shipment. I haven't used the plastic bottle though I can't say for sure that they would be better. But, I can say that these are likely to leak.The taste is fine. Personally, I would prefer a slightly less acidic vinegar like at around 4.25% (like Chinese vinegars) instead of this 5%. I can always dilute it to that acidity, but I don't want to dilute the taste. Anyway, it's traditional for British stuff, so I guess you have to go with it if you want the trad flavor.

Sarson's Malt Vinegar in a glass bottle was purchased to keep flavor longer. I bought some in a plastic bottle as well. Just checking my theory. Bought Sarsons to use on battered fish. I was not disappointed, took me back to the flavor of Fish & Chips in London, England.

Think twice about purchasing this product. Bottles sealed but still some were leaking around the cap when received. Vinegar was good but did not have a strong flavor.

Can’t believe I was able to get this here. All the way from the UK. GOES GREAT EITH MY HONEMADE FISH AND CHIPS!
