Butterfly Tenergy 05 is Handful of Energy
I am a class A senior (age 57) backhand offensive competitor, over 6 feet tall, with large hands. No paddle will make a player a better one, proper skills and control will only do that. But, once the skills and control are developed, then a paddle like the Butterfly Timo Boll ALC Blade & Tenergy 05 Rubber Shakehand Table Tennis Racket can, as it did in my case, improve one's topspin power, spin, and speed. I highly recommend it as an investment to any advanced competitor.

The best bat/rubbers combination
If you are a medium to experienced ping pong player, this is a fantastic combination. The bat is fast, but not too fast, responsive and vibration free. The rubbers are their perfect match, looping has never been so natural with that smooth arch always falling on your opponent’s side. Blocks need some practice due to the super catapult effect of the Tenergy 05.Overall excellent products.

Just buy it already!
I would consider myself an amateur player. I’ve used mark v rubbers, a stiga blade with nice rubbers. So far I really like this combo. It’s probably more paddle than I need or can appreciate, but I’m convinced it’s my best chance to be consistent with top spin power, skinny blocking and looping from mid distance. Just buy it already!

NOT SO FAST...
Listen... Timo Boll is the man in pong right now. He is one of my favorite players. He doesn't loose his emotional composure. I find it comical and RIDICULOUS the manic outbursts many pros have. This German is a assassin on the table. This is my Timo Boll blade. I annihilate people with it. However... 2 things... You guys have the "plastics" WRONG. Dr Neubauer Special defense. THAT is what a defensive player such as myself wants. Also... The paddles in my opinion are a tad to light. Thats why I ALWAYS GET THE DRILL OUT... Use a very small bit and get a two nails into the sides and then two 2 and a half inches down. Four drill holes all together. Finish off with Niittaku FAT puffy edge guard tape and then break out the Polyurethane for the handles... Don't paint over the inlays. OFFENSIVE PLAYERS FLIP with this paddle. 152 grams of death. I have also played with the paddle here... I'm sorry... PF4 by DHS on one side the other Tenergy 05 Rubber... THAT IS A PADDLE THAT WILL WRECK YOUR OPPONENTS MIND.
