1791's ladyWomen's Victorian Rococo Dress Inspiration Maiden Costume

I have an annual Jane Austen party and this dress was amazing for it!! I had ordered maybe 12 dresses and this was by far the best value. My daughter used it in a size small and although I added a red strip to add a bit more coverage above the bust (it wasn't horrible, but she was more comfortable with a higher neck), otherwise the dress was perfection. It truly was stunning!!! Quality is very good too, held up in spite of lawn bowling, wandering around in a hoop skirt in the wind, etc... definitely recommend!

I LOVE this dress! I bought it for my Marie Antoinette birthday party. I was worried about the fit and honestly it fit so perfect it was like it was made for me. I don't know how I got so lucky but for some reason it did. I ordered a size small. I am 5' 6" and 120 lb if that helps someone else. I used a hoop skirt that I also bought here on amazon & it fit just right under it as well as made the look I was going for work. Because it fit me just right it was hard to take off, but nothing terrible- just mentioning. The ribbon for lacing up the back & front is great to get just the right fit as well.The material was super comfortable and thin. Gave the look of a lot of material as heavy looking gown, but felt light & very easy to wear the whole day. I was sad to take it off it since was just so much fun to wear!!

For $40 before Halloween this was a steal.I bought the 3x as I’m 250lbs, 5’ 3” and big chested.It comes with ribbon for the front and back but I found with my apple shaped build that that made it just too tight and it hung awkwardly, so I just left them off and it was fine.*I sewed a little bit together at the chest on either side to make it lay flatter across.*I had to hem the bottom about 4 inches because it was so LONG even in 2 “ boots.**I also made my own hoop skirt out of pvc piping and some strips on cotton (I didn’t want to spend too much time on it). I wanted to get that big drape effect.Without the hoop skirt it looked ok, but it looked fabulous with it!So with 2 small simple sewing alterations I had an amazing costume.My husband’s was also all from Amazon, not too shabby.

This dress exceeded my expectations. I had read some very favorable reviews, so I purchased it, along with another dress for a costume event. I never even opened the other package. Once I tried this dress on, it was decided for me. Beautiful dress and fit like a glove. It was a bit sheer so I wore a nude undergarmet. I received SO MANY compliments on this dress. I rarely ever leave reviews, but I was so pleased that I had to for this dress.

The material is very thin and the sewing is rushed. I wouldn’t buy it again

This dress was so fantastic. We had it steamed at the laundromat to get the wrinkles out and did put a hoop skirt underneath but it as so wonderful. They added a cosplay corset on the outside, but even without it, it truly is a wonderful dress and SO affordable! Size small on a 120lb, 5’6” person. No alterations were needed.

I love it .it's pretty cheap but the quality is do good and fits me good.
