I was really excited for this item to come, I preordered it last year and it finally came in today. But I was immediately disappointed with all aspects of this item. Firstly, it is MINI it is the smallest tamagotchi I have ever seen, just about the size of a quarter, with the screen just about the size of my thumb nail. The buttons are so close together that if you have larger fingers you would press 2 buttons at once. But that brings me into the next point, the buttons are BAD. They wiggle and wobble like a gummy candy and take a lot of pressure to actually press down to register that you even pressed it. There are only 4 games with no objective or reward other than a ‘sun’ shape and a happy tune. Definitely not worth almost $30, would probably not even buy it for $5. I grew up with tamagotchis so I had high hopes, but was sorely disappointed.

This thing is TINY but I did my research before buying and everything’s exactly as I expected.To anyone who isn’t aware, this is a Tamagotchi Nano. It’s supposed to be this small and unlike the original Tamagotchis you might be expecting from back in the day (I had one of those too) which is slightly bigger and come with more functions. This particular line of Tamagotchis are supposed to be this small and limited in function. No poop-cleaning or any other features. The BT21 Tamagotchi, like the other Nanos, only has a feature for feeding, a few mini-games, and the character evolution aspect which makes each Nano unique from one another. That’s it. It’s supposed to be simple and low-maintenance. This might be a turn off to a lot of people (but essential to some who simply don’t have much time to devote taking care of a virtual pet) especially considering the price tag but that’s just how the Tamagotchi Nanos are and it’s kinda unfair that people are leaving such low/bad reviews for something that they should have known if they only did a little more research on what they’re buying since there’s actually nothing wrong with the item itself.

Perfect for any BTS or BT21 fan. Simple functions that kids could easily use. Size is smaller than a standard Tamagotchi.

Its sooo cute! Definitely reminiscent of the old school Nano Pets/Tamagotchis. The main difference is that you only have 3 objectives: feed them, play with them and don't let them feel lonely (ie no discipline, no medicine, no poop cleaning). My only gripes are A) its TINY! Literally the perfect size for my 3 year olds hands and I can barely maneuver with it (My Mom gave up and couldn't even bother with her Blue one 🙃) and B) Ive played it 6 times (each time interacting with Van differently) and I've only gotten Kookie once and Koya the rest. As much of an OT7 as I am, I'm literally trying to have the rest of the crew! 😓😂
