Sturdy, beautifully imperfect and lightweight.
Okay even though this particular came I received and not have the nice big ball on the top it does have a significant hand grip where the root is supposed to be. It is precisely the right length that I need, has some nice gnarl from the branch trim on it I do kind of wish they would leave a little bit of the branch trimming on there, maybe a 1/8 in or up to a quarter inch just to give it a little character and texture along the shaft. But all in all I cannot complain. It is 100% natural, nice and light, feel sturdy. I'm 6 ft 220 and I have leaned on this just to see how much it would bend and it hardly bends at all. Definitely a very good purchase. Especially when you consider that these are not reproductions but 100% natural so each one is going to be individual unto itself and yes completely different Comma plus the perfectly imperfect Perfection On the shaft. As far as length it is actually 37.25 in length and I think part of that .25 in is going to be from the rubber pad on the bottom. With proper use this walking Aid will help definitely with some balance and with a little practice self-defense if ever needed. The only thing I might do since this is definitely a keeper, is sand off the remaining bark or at least rough it up really good and repaint the shaft a high gloss black or possibly even go mahogany stain in color.

Wonderful product made in Texas!!!
Exactly what I ordered, the root knob fits perfectly in either hand. It has enough roughness for character and enough polish to add softness.

Get it for function, not looks
Part cane/ part walking stick. Comes in handy for family member. Fair price which explains very plain appearance. Knob added to stick as mismatch. Ugly.

Very nice cane at a good price - good purchase
Really like the knob on the end. Fits my palm perfectly. It's quite like the picture in the product listing (that's a surprise, given that no two canes are alike). Couple natural imperfections in the wood just add to the appeal. It's 3- or 4-inches too long, but I knew that when I ordered it. Will trim the end. Note that the shaft of this cane is quite thick - maybe almost an inch in diameter. I cannot imagine it being any less than indestructible! NOTE: shortened the cane using a hacksaw. Did not want to sand the tip area so I bought 1 1/8" tips that fits very snugly.

ONE OF A KIND - IT IS A HANDCRAFTED RUSTIC KNOB ROOT CANE W/LIFETIME WARRANTY
A failed lumbar fusion and failed revision surgeries have created a disability that requires for me the use of a cane. For years I have been using generic metal canes. Recently I purchased an exotic wood cane from Brazos that I plan to use for special occasions. The quality craftmanship and the one-of-a-kind nature of this original cane had me looking at other Brazos offerings. This rustic knob root cane being one of a few more I purchased from Brazos. This cane is solid, looks fantastic, stronger thar 99% of my metal expandable canes, and shipping was timely. Amazons pricing is better than Brazos website. Plus, a couple of my canes I was able to get Amazon sale pricing. Some of the Brazos canes are approved FSA & HAS, another plus for me. The only fault I have with this knob root cane is a couple voids on the bottom side of the handle. Nothing that I would return. I will fill with the voids with epoxy, and shape. Quick easy low-cost fix for me. It is not really needed – but it will complete the fit and feel of the cane for my use.

Okay, just not quite as described
Feels strong, and the handle and tip are well sanded. Body is roughly finished, and it all lacks the care and shine of the demo photos. Also not debarked as in the photos. Mine did not include a rubber tip.

Perfectly imperfect
The packaging was like it was gift wrapped. It arrived quickly. It’s solid and really nice. Smooth finish. Not over polished, just enough. My only afterthought hit me when I walked though the house with it and caught my dogs reaction. I’m gonna have to keep and eye on her.

Utter waste of nearly $50 on a stick I can't use, return, or have replaced
The handle is not nearly as curved as the ones pictured. I realize they are natural and all unique, but it does not look like the examples. It's basically just straight with a knob at the top. Seems to be a sturdy stick, but durability hardly matters when it's unusable for me. I should be able to send it back for a different one, but that's not even an option. Total ripoff.UPDATE: The company returned my email apologizing and approving me for a refund without a need to return the item. I'm not sure how to process it through Amazon because there's no option for a return on the item, but I suppose we'll see what happens. If this gets sorted out, I'm definitely going to give them more stars.
