Q: what grade of stainless steel is this?

Q: Has anyone tried putting this in the dishwasher?

I put these in my industrial dishwasher and they're fine. These are a great buy and they seem like they'll last a while.

Q: How do you get the liquid to pour out? Press button, etc.?

Loosen the lid a half turn and pour. The seal on the lid is at the bottom of the lid. The half turn leaves the lid threaded in but liquid can pour from the spout. My wife uses it every day for her coffee that she drinks from a China cup. (Wives!) :-). She loves the carafe.
