Rescue

I originally Checked this book out from my local library to read to students at school. They loved it so much we went to Amazon to buy one for the classroom! For being a used book, it came quickly and is just as described if not better! Thank you we love it!

Five stars because my eleven year old son, who used to love reading but no longer enjoys it, was gripped by this book and enthused about it after reading one of the other books in the series in school. True stories about rescuse missions - he loved it and I love the fact that he was enthusiastic about reading for a little while. Worth all five stars!

I pre-ordered this as soon as I saw it was coming. We have the two other books from this series and they have been huge favourites.We haven't read all the stories in this one yet but it's shaping up to be just as good.One caveat, the age range is given as 5-8. My children are 7 and 11 and have been a little spooked by some of the bad things that happen (e.g. earthquake levelling a school) so do be aware of that.

Excellent book, especially for my son who finds reading "boring". The short stories are interesting and informative. If you can drag your son off the Xbox for five minutes, then this is well worth it.

The last in this series of books, possibly not quite as superlative as the previous two but still a good read greatly enjoyed by an 8 year old and his 10 year old brother.
