Bulk Buy: Caron Simply Soft Yarn Paints (2-Pack) (Spring Brook)

I knitted a baby blanket and a dress for the sleepy bunny that is tucked into the pocket on the blanket. I ended up buying a couple of additional skeins for a future sweater for myself. It was very soft and I think calling the yarn "paints" is very appropriate. There is something about how the patterns plays out that has that lovely sort of impressionistic esthetic. The baby blanket is super squishy and soft, and I think the sweater I've got in mind is going to be a joy to wear when I have it knitted up. Definitely going to be buying more.

I am making an Afghan. The colors are true to the picture in the description and I do like the colors very much but it is poor quality yarn. I am too far in to quit the project so I will finish but will look for another brand of yarn for my next project.

I purchased this yarn for a sweater. It is brilliant and soft as can be! I had one small issue with ounce weight, which I can see is a very easy mistake to make. However, I contacted the seller and was answered within hours, not days. The additional 20 ounces was mailed to me right away and I was completely satisfied. This is an excellent seller with product that is true to the photo.

I returned it because it was no the color the picture made it look like it was. Yarn company made that yarn a brighter color. I'm looking for the old color, more pastel than bright, to finish a gift.Very disappointed, picture was misleading. The yarn lot # would have been beneficial to save my wasted time having to return it.

I've used Caron Simply Soft for several different projects and each one has turned out beautifully. The ones I recently ordered from Amazon are going into a blanket I'm making to break up the monotone colors I'm using. The Spring Brook (color name of the yarn) has a bit of shine and the greens and blues draw the eye away from the boring other colors. I'm hoping Caron isn't discontinuing this color because I may want to get more to make something else. It's very pretty.

The yarn is soft however my one complaint the yarn splits and if you don’t catch it problems result.

From the picture, I thought the colors would be darker. It's a nice yard though, will do a nice project with it.

This is one of my favorite colors and is nice and soft to work with and to use the finished project. I use Caron yarn whenever I have the chance.
