I ordered a medium, and the extra-large arrived. The quality overall looks good, and this is a much thicker wetsuit than the other brands of wetsuit that I got at 5 mm, most of the other ones were 2 to 3 mm for kids, so it is a little bit less flexible but also a lot warmer. That said, we weren't able to actually try this on for sizing purposes because the wrong size was shipped.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my initial review for this Ravani 5mm Kids Wetsuit Kids and I'll continue updating it as I use it.This has been my favorite wetsuit brand, I got one before for me and have been very happy with the quality, fit, and comfort, so I bought a smaller one for my younger kid.I also bought an off brand from Amazon for before, and while it was an ok wetsuit, it isn't as good as this one. That's why I thought to buy the same brand as the one I bought before.I got this wetsuit to keep my son warm and last his whole swimming lessons. The cheaper off brand one, the knees wore out and developed some holes as a result. It was bad for just 2 weeks wetsuit, unlike this one my son been using it heavily with alot of hard playing in rocky beaches. The zipper is very easy to reach with very long cord for my kid to zip himself in. I would recommend wearing underwear to prevent skin friction and irritation.Overall, very good quality wetsuit for a great price and I highly recommend it.P.S. I would definitely consider these on the small side as I ordered for 7 to 8 year olds hoping that would fit our six year old and I did not

Honest review here.This works well and is as pictured and as described... It does the trick and keeps my daughter warm for surf lessons.Two things I didn't love. 1 is that it has a label across the front which isn't great. 2 is that the long pull string fell apart right away... so we can barely use it. Had to attach a new ribbon / rope to it and replace it.Overall it was a good value but bummed about the pull role.

I know that this is going to be alittle big for him this year but thought it would be perfect for next year. This wetsuit is a nice 5mm shorty wetsuit that zips up the back. It has velcro at the top of the neck line to secure it around the neck. It really helps keep the child warm. It also provides protection from rock or coral abrasions. I feel that this wetsuit is well made and will hold up. I recommend this item to others and feel that it seems to be a fair price for the quality that you receive. I would consider ordering again as our children grow.
