This product should be furnished with every 'pneumatic' chair sold. I have fought with my 'pneumatic' chair from the first day I brought it home. Because the mechanism of the chair is chrome plated it was not something that could be welded easily to a fixed height. Turns out you can't buy a chair with a locking mechanism to force the chair to stay at a fixed height any more - at least none of the stores I checked had even one. I love the chair now that it is at a fixed height. No more jerking as the chair slowly lost air from a leaky seal. Incidentally, my chair doesn't have a manufacturers label on it nor an instruction on it to help use theadjustment mechanism. That shows me that the manufacturer was really really proud of their prodcuct.

The product is very easy to install, and comes complete with the necessary Allen key. It certainly does the job it's intended for.

The hydraulic lift on my De Sede Office chair had failed. I contacted the manufacturer for a repair and they quoted £2553.60 Inc. VAT - I searched online for an alternative solution and I'm glad I did as for a simple washer tightened around the stem means my designer chair is now fixed, albeit at a set height but this product stops the seat from falling lower. Fantastic result at less than 1% of the cost. Thank you.

Very easy to install, clamps onto shaft securely to prevent sagging, however know in advance that the regular spring chair has always had, will be missing. Dependent therefore on only the foam cushioning for comfort.

The hydraulic cylinder on my office chair began to give out months ago and I literally had stand up, raise the chair back up several times an hour.I was literally about to spend hundreds on a new chair and came across this.I literally just got it and installed it in just a couple minutes. No sinking whatsoever. Looks way better than a cheesy hose clamp. It looks like it is just part of the chair.$10 bucks just saved me hundreds!
