It works well for a toddlers first water color. Washes off well, and they have fun. Just BARELY wet the palette before they paint. Add a small bowl with paper towels surrounding a smaller bowl with a TINY bit of water, and let them go! All kids should paint with this!

I love this size water colors for my grandkids. My only complaint is that it’s very pricey

The colors are opaque and easily saturated with water for colorful activities! My 1.5yr old loves them.

Great for young kids, but not a fan of the brush it comes with (very soft bristles and retains a lot of water). The set doesn’t last long, but is a good starter for young artists.

Got this product for my 1yo because he loves to pint at school but was not ready to give him real paint. With just 3 colors, it’s good enough. I have dropped it and the colors fell out, but it slide right back it and when it dried it was “stuck” again. We mainly use it in the bathtub for very easy clean up, as it is washable. Haven’t had any real problems with staining his fingers unless he’s constantly dipping them in there. The color does fade off little hands by the end of the night/next morning. The tub hasn’t been stained at all. It does come off clothes with some ease. I try to either blot it off his clothes or use a stain remover. He now just paints in a house shirt, toddler smock, or without a shirt. This would be a great Gift for the young ones! The price is great for someone small to mess around in!

Break really easily but like how they are big and only have a few colors, perfect for a toddler to use... once. When mine broke I trashed it, all she wanted to do was pick up the paint chunks after that.

We purchased this for our 16 month old son and this set is perfect for toddlers. Wintertime in Chicago means we have to spend a lot of time indoors so we try to do an art or craft project with him on the days he does not go to daycare, just to give him new and interesting activities to do. He was doing well painting with finger-paints and painting with brushes, so we wanted to do a watercolor set to incorporate that extra step of dipping the brush in water first. He took to this set right away, the size of the tray is perfect and the colors are large enough for him to be able to maneuver the brush to collect the paint. Overall we are happy with this purchase.

I bought this paint set for my Grandson and although he is only 18 months old he loves it.I also bought him an art table that he uses to paint and everything else including eating on it.
