A nice book for fresher

Good reference and intro to the Subject. It covers everything imaginable and I'm halfway through (and still enjoying it). I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone studying for a job in Mechanical and Automobile Engineering.

This is a good general guide to how stuff works on modern cars, and how they should be maintained.Of course it is not vehicle specific so anyone planning to do significant maintenance on their vehicle will need more specific guidance.
