Great book!
It’s not what I expected—a bit more “simple” than I expected, for the cost, but my five year old daughter with anxiety and OCD loves it, and we read it every day. I have even given it to her teachers at school, so they can try to help with her fears/obsessions at school!

a simple but effective book
I have an autistic son in mainstream school who is 7, and this book is perfect for his level of understanding to how to manage his anxiety in class. We find schhool is where he is most anxious and I have given the book to his LSA to help them both understand. Some pages are work book style and they can draw what makes them anxious etc. I would say it's best for primary aged children, who have problems communicating how they feel or what upsets them.

Wonderful book for Child with ASD
I bought this book to help my son who has ASD and ADHD. It has proven to be excellent in helping him understand his feelings and when his worries/temper is getting too much. It provides a clear route for the child to understand how they feel and steps to cool/calm down. I would highly recommend it, and know it would help all children when they find it hard to express and understand their feelings.

really good for outbursts
This book has helped my daughter a lot , even though she is not statemented she has traits of the Autism spectrum and this book has taught her new ways of doing things when she gets like she going to explode. It has good pictures and easy to understand. Definite recommend this book even if you in the same situation as me.

A must. Extremely adaptable strategies to help kids/young people with high levels of anxiety to recognise trig
Extremely adaptable / versatile strategies to help kids/young people with high levels of anxiety to recognise a) own feelings, b) triggers that increase anxiety and c) how to develop their own ways of coping and decreasing anxiety. Small book which, if properly used, can take a whole academic year to implement. Good for adults as well.

Good purchase
Illustrations and information included are good. It is American (which I knew before purchase) so there are some anomalies with the spelling.

Good ideas but very American language
This is a good book to use as a basis for working with children with anger issues. However, I had to paraphrase it as there are quite a few American sayings that don't make sense to our children.
