My holiday caravan is not far from silverdale so we have been working our way through the book(just 3 left to do) the walks ARE easy to follow and cover such varied areas,gorgeous fairy glens,old abandoned quarries and old enchanted woods,each walk we have done has been better than the previous one,dont hesitate to buy it x

Great walks for families, with historical highlights. Occasionally the directions could be sharper, and the maps are not brilliant, but if you carry an OS 1:25,000 alongside you will love getting to know this part of the world through this excellent guide.

Bought this book as we're going on holiday in that area. Really good, informative book, beautiful photos. Will enjoy doing some of the walks! Would recommend.
