Good size, though a touch larger than I had expected, and worked as expected. Range was fine for size point, however it wound up falling apart after a short while... Must have gotten bumped in my laptop bag or something (I kept it removed while not in use).I wound up replacing it with a dongle with an external antenna at around the same price point... My new one (check my reviews, not sure if I'm allowed to cross-reference on here) sticks out probably 1/4" further, but is thicker, seems sturdier / more durable and receives a far superior range.

Plugged in a HP Stream laptop with Windows 8.1 and it doesn't work. Tried the software from the accompanying CD as well as updated drivers from Microsoft but at no avail. It should really work as plug&play device this days, specially when dealing with a current Windows OS. I'm staying with more stablished brands here on.

All the software to Linux is horrificly out of date

This works as planned.
