This is an exceptionally well built box. We bought it mostly to have a place to store rent until we take it to the bank. It does that and should be very secure because it is made of very heavy steel. It includes what looks to be high quality lag bolt for wood and anchor bolts for concrete. Installation was easy and reassuringly solid.The opening is made for envelopes and works well, though #10 envelopes are just a bit to wide to go in widthwise. There is plenty of room in the drop box to store a whole lot of rent checks. Only a determined thief will be getting them out. The small opening makes fishing things out a lengthy and difficult process. The lag bolts and sturdy steel making ripping it out a very arduous and noisy endeavor.I can't say this is just what we needed as it is substantial overkill, but that is just fine.

This mailbox is excellent in every way. I own a medical clinic and we collect patient payments in a hallway drop box. Our old unit was too small, too flimsy, and had an awkward flap. This one is sturdy, has a very reasonably sized slot, and is just the right size to accommodate many payments. When I first saw the shape, I was concerned that the tapered bottom would be awkward, but it's a comfortable space, and being lower than the access door, we don't have payments falling out of the box when we open it. In summary, this is a quality product well worth the price. Installation was quick and easy. And, the tan color closely matches our wall so the unit isn't overly obvious.

I bought this to replace a much cheaper deposit box. I use it to collect rent, rental applications, leases, etc at a property.This thing is beefy. The metal is heavy and I had a tough time installing it because of the heft. The lag bolts it comes with were also difficult to install. That said, it feels far more secure. The door is truly flush to the face so I don't think anyone could pry it open, and there are a set of pawls inside of the drop opening to stop people from getting their hands inside. I know others said they were able to easily fish items out--this extra security measure may have been added recently. Eventually I'll be buying a few more and phasing the boxes out on my other properties and only using this.

Theres no guard to protect things from being fished out. I got ripped off for a grand on Xmas day at my shop. I'm making this into an outdoor mailbox now. Should be cool for that but anything put in here can easily be stolen. We tested it out after the theft and it literally takes minutes to empty it out with anything long enough that has backwards duct tape on it.

Works great as a payment or document drop off. Be warned it comes with a non standard key do if you lose it you will be SOL. The screws they send to mount it with are nice and large, using all four of them I don't think this drop box is ever coming of the wall.

It's a good, solid box. However, one big negative is that it doesn't have a protective lid for the slot on top. That's an obvious problem if it is placed outside. I had to rig one up, with mixed results. If it's located inside it shouldn't be a problem.

I volunteer at a non-profit and one of our volunteers had been stealing our donations. We had to figure out a way to prevent that from happening, so we bought one of these.It seems like a decent drop safe. Looks stylish and installs easily. Nothing bad to say about it. Definitely priced well.Don't forget to borrow or invest in a stud finder and get your socket set out! Requires two people to install.

This safe worked perfectly for the PTO I am treasurer for. We needed a place to secure money as well as items that could not be left in the PTO's open mail box. This safe was much cheaper than a company we looked at previously and who wanted a larg sum for extra keys. The only thing was not great is the keys that go withthe safe & we needed to pay locally for extra one. T

Works great! Paint quality and fit and finish are both top-rate. Read the specifications though, to make sure that it is the right size for your application. We only realized after purchase that may be a bit smaller than our needs, but that is a mistake on our part. The product itself is great!

It does the job. It shipped from America, so I had to pay an extra fee to get it delivered but it wasn't that much. I'd purchase again if I needed something like this in the future.
