Works like a charm!
I've used this on two projects now, and it works beautifully. One was in an exterior wall with fiberglass insulation, and the other was an interior wall with no insulation. The magnet is ridiculously strong and had no problem pulling 14/2 cable up through the stud bay. It's amazing how much easier things can be when you have the right tool for the job, and this is one of those tools.

Great for finding studs in walls too
The magnet in this is incredibly strong. So much so that running it across a stud wall will reveal where the screws are and does a far better job that the budget and pro Bosch stud finder I have.It is also great at drawing wires through a wall.
