I spent too many hours of my life trying to pick the perfect dog poop scooper. Glad I picked this one, the rake is surprisingly effective at grabbing the poo through the tall grass and it’s easy to hang, the rake snaps on and the bags fit in easily. Only thing I wish I knew about when ordering is this isn’t one that keeps out rain water. After a big rain I have a bucket full of poo and water. I put the bucket down in a slope and let the water drain 🤢but this seems to be great other than that

I loved this product. It made it so easy to pick up dog poop. It’s lightweight and easy on the back. Being able to put the bag right in it makes it a very quick, clean easy job. The problem is that it broke at the hinge within a half dozen uses so, unfortunately its pretty cheap. If it held together better it would have gotten 5 stars. Now I need something else (just ordered a metal one hoping it will hold up better).

Good value for the price.

I have 2 Saint Bernards and a Golden Retriever and this scooper just really did not hold up over time. The joints aren’t very strong and they snapped a couple times (we taped them up each time, but eventually it wasn’t enough). They’re a little too short for me (5’9”) and I have to be hunched over for the entire cleanup session. The way the bags fit into the basin is a little tricky and to remove them sometimes you end up getting poop on your hands if the bin is full. Finally, the joint on the rake constantly were loosening and I’d have to like try to tighten the rake mid-scooping without touching it. Just generally a very annoying experience. I did get two years out of it, but that was 95% my own stubbornness to not give up. I finally gave up today after the rake handle snapped again and hurt my finger

So, usually I wat a few days and test a product before writing a review, but I don't think I need to this time. I board dogs in my home, as well as having 6 small ones of my own, and this thing is as close to perfect as I have found. It's made of heavy plastic, which holds up better and is easier to clean. It uses regular grocery bags, you know the ones, you have a bag filled with these somewhere in your house... They fit on the device so well that no doody touches the device, only the rake. Those bags tie closed easily, and I can put it straight into my big outdoor bin with lid. Not sure about the smell in the summer yet, but if that is a problem I will update this review.
