Product has gone downhill
I’ve ordered this product multiple times for my parrot from this same company. This order was a big disappointment. The price remains the same but the product was significantly different. The “core” was still 1” as they advertise but they have shrunken the remainder of the product so the bagels themselves are much smaller and thinner than they used to be. I provided pictures to show the best I can. The item on the bottom was from my previous shipment, the one on top was the shipment I just received. Nothing to indicate you are paying the same amount of money for a much smaller item. What a disappointment.

Good way to get a bit more life out of expensive parrot toys
These wound paper donuts are and economic way to extend the life of our Amazon parrot's chew toys. She loves the rings but tears them apart VERY quickly. It would be great if they were around 50% thicker and/or wound more tightly but they're a decent value and keep Peabody entertained and happy!

Great for bird toy making!
Make a new toy or refill an old one. Size is good for a variety of birds and colors are vibrant. Price for 200 is very economical. You can find a variety of links to hold the bagels online or in baby sections in retail stores.

My parrots love to chew these up
I just found out about these - a friend sent me some for my parrot after his mate of 36 years passed away. Chewing these "bagels" up gave my parrot a reason to live! My only complaints are that there isn't enough variation in size - I ordered these and got a huge bag of tiny bagels - my parrot prefers the larger bagels I can only find at the bird store. Second, these are a lot of money for what they are. They are cheaper than most bird toys - but still - my bird can chew one up in three minutes... so not that inexpensive. It would also help if they sold something to hang these from. My friend sent me the thing to hang them from - but that will need to be replaced at some point - and I have no idea where to get the replacement part - at that point, the bagels will be useless to me. Please at least provide a link to something to hang these from.

My African grey loves these
We buy my African grey a $90 subscription box of toys every month, and since he got obsessed with these he’s started to ignore his other toys and has a backlog now. Seriously considering switching to a smaller monthly box. Grateful to find these in such a large quantity at a reasonable price. If your African grey is anxious, plucking, misbehaving, or seems to want something and you can’t figure out what, know that a lot of them are OCD about grooming their beak. After every meal, and sometimes in the middle, I give mine a colored nontoxic popsicle stick, and one of these bagel toys. Just like people sand things down or file their nails starting with the coarsest material and working up to finer materials to finish smoothing them out, birds do the same thing! Watch them, it’s very cool to understand. Mine gets so anxious and unruly when he feels his beak is ragged. He’s truly meticulous about it and it keeps him occupied.Other materials African Greys enjoy for grooming their beaks are slightly thicker wood than popsicle sticks (lots of toys out there with that), and cardstock/postcard paper.

Best parrot toy ever!!
My Amazon parrots love them. It keeps them entertained/occupied, so they will not chew on the furniture, and, more importantly, they will not “dive bomb” me. Lol. Best bird toy ever!
