I buy 5L if most things these days, to try save money and plastic waste. I struggled to fill my smaller containers but this is so much easierThey don't leek. (Unlike the ones at work lol)

It's a simple addition for a 5 litre plastic container, a standard size used for countless applications of many kinds of liquids.The plastic straw inserts into the body of the white pump, that in turn screws on to the drum in place of the lid. The pump it self is locked in place by a second thread.Loosing that releases the pump which is sprung, and a pumping action then dispenses the fluid.The plastic straw and pump was longer than the container was high, by design to better evacuate the last of the liquid I presume, so it has to be pushed down in order to screw the pump dispenser in place.I tried the pump on 5 litre drum of Isopropyl Alcohol - it was effective, but there was some dribbling, not surprising given the substance, something slightly more viscous would be less troublesome, and more likely the intended use.The pump is made of strong white plastic and I am confident that it could be reused multiple times.This being a five pack means one unit is around £1.20 - which seems reasonable given the functionality.

I used these to dispense liquid cleaning ingredients from 5L containers. They were easy to fit to the tubs and work as expected. Much easier than trying to pour liquids into smaller containers. Just tip the container back a little to stop the drip.

The pump head is far too big for my needs.

We bought these as a pump dispenser for the 5litre Faith in Nature bathroom products. Wish we got them earlier as make refilling smaller bottles so much easier and mess free. Seem to be well made and deliver a good helping of thick product with each pump.

Leaks in multiple places, doesn’t lock back down after use properly.Caused a massive waste of products.

I know that it won't be down to the pump itself, more the bottle I was putting it on. I was putting the dispenser on a 5l bottle of fabric conditioner, and it just wouldn't fit. In the end I had to force the pump on and screw it down really tight. Once I had done that it worked.It's easy enough to put the 'straws' that come with the pump in the main body. A few twists of the pump and the nozzle shoots right up.The pumps are good quality and will pay for themselves. After all I would usually buy several bottles of fabric conditioner, but now I can just buy a large one. The pump dispenses enough for a wash in one go.
