I have naturally wavy thick hair and the summer humidity in the South is making my hair crazy frizzy. I have been living in braids because I can’t really wear my hair down without it being cartoonishly big. I’ve been told by the hair dresser to do a Brazilian Blow Out but really couldn’t stomach spending $350 + tip for a single treatment that is temporary. I came across this at-home version and decided to try it.First off, the instructions on the bottle are small so I referred to the Amazon listing to figure out how to do the treatment. IMPORTANT: make sure you have a blow dryer and a hair straightening iron. I set aside 4 hours to do this treatment from start to finish and probably needed more time to really iron it out in the ideal manner.I was very happy that the amount of product in the small bottle covered all of my chest-length hair. I waited the higher of the range of recommended time before washing the product out. When finished, my hair was shiny, frizz-free and super straight. I was happy to wear my hair down and not have to style it (only brush) for the next 3 days because it was so gorgeous! After 3 days I needed to wash my hair, and after air drying, a tiny hint of my normal hair texture started to peak through (no longer perfectly straight) but my hair was still very shiny and frizz free.2 days later I washed my hair again after swimming in a salt water pool and was very happy to see my hair was still shiny and frizz free (after air drying), BUT my hair now has more areas that are getting wavy again.If this was the $350 salon results I would be sad, but given the price point of this at-home treatment, it’s 100% worth it. I contacted Prohall and for advice on when I can redo the treatment (I plan to spend more time diligently ironing) and the gentleman responded immediately and gave me clear guidance—amazing customer service.I recommend this product to anyone looking to improve shine and reduce frizz for a very reasonable price.

This product DESTROYED my hair. I’m so upset. I HAD rib length darker hair. I live in an area where humidity is high and I’m outside a lot. Based on the reviews I purchased this to try to smooth it a bit and hopefully make it manageable… I’ve never regretted anything more. This item ruinedmy hair… I can’t even brush it and I have to cut it ALL OFF just to salvage it. I cannot believe this is happening and am warning anyone with longer hair to STEER CLEAR.

I am.a long time resident.of central Florida. I have struggled with frizz especially in the summer to the point I was about to wave the white flag and cut my hair very short. This was my last ditch effort to keep my long ish hair and not have to wear it up 99% of the time in the summer and it worked. Followed the directions and cannot believe hair is 99% under control even in the rain. Sorta mad my stylist hasn't recommended this treatment to me. My hair is thin and fine. If I let it air dry it's very curly and frizzy. This is by far the best straight and under control hair I've had in July in Florida. If you're on the fence, give it a tryNothing to lose but a couple hours of your time and a little $. Wayyyyy cheaper than a salon and no weird smell or super harsh ingredients.

My hair obviously needs a trim but anyways. My hair is vnaturally (wavy textured and very frizzy) as you can tell from the (after) photos its vey long and I used a little less than half of the 3 OZ bottle. You truly don't need that much product. I washed my hair with soap then dried 80% with hairdryer high heat, Used my hands to apply to my hair in sections and used a fine tooth comb to evenly coat my hair. The product doesn't need to be extremely heavy on the hair when applying it. Just enough to basically have your hair appear "wet" from the product. After sectioning and combing I set a timer for 70 minutes. Rinsed in cold water, nothing crazy just a basic rinse for a minute or 2 squeezed my hair a few times and then squeezed with a towel, brushed and comb then hairdryer with high heat. Sectioned hair and went over each section counting 15 times at minimum and then going over everything, un-sectioned to make sure I didn't miss spots. I just saved myself so much money from the salon. Product smelled like a coconut conditioner.
