These sticks are awesome! I was using Drano about once a month in my kitchen sink, but I haven't needed it at all since I started using these!Some of the sticks came broken, but they still work. They dissolve and release enzymes that break up grease and gunk, but the pictures make it seem like the sticks are supposed to stay sticks in bend of the pipes.I don't know if they will work on a fully clogged pipe, but they did fix my slow draining kitchen sink and bathtub. I also put some small pieces into those holes inside the washing machine basin where the water drains...and voila, sour dish rag smell is gone!Even if you don't pour grease down the drain, it still builds up in the pipes from rinsing dishes with greasy residue, sauces, etc.I just drop them in every few weeks when I think about it. The scents are all pleasant and not strong at all.If everyone used these in their drains, it could help maintain the pipes in all of the sewer systems.

Wish they had a pleasant fragrance. They really have no smell. Otherwise, they seem to be helping the nasty smell that was coming from my drains.
