So repairing a tear in your roof felt from the inside is not easy - and I'd tried a couple of waterproof, ultra-sticky tapes only to find that after 48 hours, the tape that was impossible to unstick from most things it touched had become well and untruly unstuck from my roof felt.So a little more research and I found I should be using Flashband tape - hence buying this product. No, not easy to repair the tear from the inside, to get the tape on the outer side, between the roof felt and roof tiles - but that's where it being not so sticky to start with really helped - you could get the first strip at the bottom in place, then use the hairdryer on it for a short time and press it all down really firmly. The last top strip was harder but it all worked. And it all stayed stuck!!!! It's still stuck. Really impressed with my handiwork and now the roof felt won't tear any further and isn't letting in any draughts either. Very happy customer.

needed to repair the whole edge of 6m x 3.5m flat roof as all the edging had split , applied a coat of tar adhesive then a double coat of flash band on worst bits, has done a great job in sealing edges, hopefully will last 5 years plus when all the felt will probably need replacing.
