I was looking for a way to have my file folders nearby for the work I do most and my office space ia very small as it's in my bedroom. I tried those stackable plastic ones and every time I backed up my chair, I'd bang the plastic file and the hooks on the back would break so the "stackable" units would fall off one by one; I started out with 8 and was down to 2! I accidentally ran across these on Amazon and thought I'd give them a try and they are PERFECT for my needs. I hung two of them on the wall using "Command" plastic hooks (BTW, the large ones are too big, ripped the grommets right out). I put the hooks up and let them dry for 24 hours and then hung them on the wall right beside me. They hold standard file folders in 10 "pockets"; I filled them both up with even 3 or 4 folders iin a pocket, depending on the size and it works great. Not everyone would want bright blue and bright red fabric on their walls, but this sysem is inexpensive, does not scratch your walls and takes up no rooms at all. It's a real find for anyone with limited filing space who needs to be able to refer to files quickly and easily. Although meant for school kids, I find it perfect for my needs and the colors brighten up the dark corner where my desk is. Hey Carson Dellorosa, think about advertising these for home offices, etc. with limited space and use more "traditional" colors. There's a whole market out there that you're not targeting! You have my undying recommendation.

I have been teaching for twenty-five years, and I am always looking for ways to be better organized. I have tried many methods of keeping up with assignments for students who have been absent, and this pocket chart has worked better than any other system. I love the fact that it hangs on the door or wall, saving valuable space in the classroom. I labeled the pockets with the days of the week, and students can easily find the work they have missed. It is also priced so reasonably; great fit for a teacher's budget!

What better way to maximize vertical space than to use a vertical pocket file? I bought one in a teacher store and used it for my kids' school work, but one day I was so aggravated looking at the file bins taking up my desk space that when I stood up to put something in the kids' hanging file, it dawned on me to use it for my other paperwork and client files. It totally frees up the prime real estate on my desk AND I can clearly see my files at a glance on the wall. I ordered a 2nd hanging file because of the convenience. Durable and plenty of pockets. Great product!

I originally got one of these when I was student teaching several years ago. It worked well, so I bought another one recently. This time it is to organize my art papers and pads by type. Most of my pads are 9x12, and the pockets can hold 2-3 books/tablets each. It is heavy, but the pockets are strong enough to handle it. The only negative is that it did not come with hooks. I didn't have any hooks small enough to go through the grommets, so I attached binder rings to the grommets and hung them from some over the door hooks, and it's working great. I should mention that the hooks were missing from the last one I bought too (we used clear packing tape that time). I don't know if they were missing or just not part of the package, but it's something to be aware of.

We use this to hold literature when we are doing community events. Usually it ends up on the table under a bunch of paperweights and ends up flying off in the wind. We hang one of these from the pop up tent in the corner and put all our pamplets and maps it in. We weight the bottom and tie it to the pole. No more chasing paper in the wind.

Love it! Works great for make-up work for 7th grade English. I put two folders in each and label it M-F and that way my Pre-AP kids can get their work in a separate folder. I also use a blue one at home and I keep it on the inside of the door to the toilet bathroom area in the master bedroom. That way I can file important, often used items, quickly and easily.

used this for homeschooling and loved it! I would place my daughters assignments on the floor (light workbooks or copies of heavy books) and she would sort out the order of her school day by putting first thing at the top and last at the bottom. when all the pockets were empty, she knew she was done! It was a great system for 1st grade and it really instilled independent working on her part and gave her control of what she got to do, when. We even had cards for recess and art and computer time.

Perfect for organization for any teacher! I loved it so much I bought one for use at home as well. When you hang it make sure to use a washer as well to secure it better to the wall.

I use this to help myself and the children to get organised. I use 7 pockets as one for each day of the week for storing school and club forms and payments in which need to be handed in on a particular day and I also use it to put homework books, spelling and reading books in on the day they are due in. For example my children are given homework on a Friday to be handed in the following Wednesday. The children usually complete their homework over the weekend so once completed I put them in the Wednesday pocket, the spelling book needs to be handed in on a Monday so once I have copied the spellings down to learn the book will then be put in the Monday file etc etc I have hung this in the boot room with the coats and school bags and my children know that each morning they need to check the pocket for that day to see what needs to be packed in their school bags and this organiser works very well for its intended purpose. The other three pockets I use to file school and club letters in, one pocket for each child and go through each pocket at the end of each half term to throw away anything which is no longer relevant.

I use this storage in my classroom - for homework, missed worksheets, reading books and records...etc. the pockets are relatively deep and it is a sturdy storage pocket chart. My kids love the vibrant red colour.

Speedy delivery, good quality, but i'm not sure yet how much weight it will take.
