Q: So you have battery operated bugs and you create a playground for them? Can you tell me more about why it's so fun?

I’ve provided nano bugs for my own kids, and for a school age child care and now buying this new version for my 5 year old grandsons birthday. The older version of the play set had connecting platforms the bugs move between but the platforms weren’t all that easy to connect so this may set up easier and be easier to store. These have been recommended as stem toys, I didn’t know vibration was a scientific study but they are absolutely fascinating to watch and there is learning in cause and effect and as odd as this seems these bugs never give up until the battery dies or you turn them off, if they get stuck they work out of it if the get turned over another one eventually helps work them out of it. Kids play with in ways that use imagination and cooperation. And if none of that explains why they love them when you hold them in your palm the feel and barely sound like a cats purr.

Q: Any tips for setting up tracks where the bugs dont make so much noise & can easily be stored without taking apart? Tupperware sounded awful.

The video I posted was in a spare room with nothing in it so it echos . My son set it up in living room and it wasn’t that loud . The bugs vibrate that’s how they move around also. The pieces around the track are rubber and the middle pieces are plastic . There’s not really a way to store without taking apart unless the track is put together and just left in one spot . My son puts his track pieces in a gallon zip lock bag after he plays with them . They are really fun to play with. I hope this helps answer your questions.

Q: Is the 60 piece set enough should I get a larger set

I think for starters this would be enough to see if the kid likes it or not if you are sure kid would love it then it would make sense to go for a larger set.

Great toy - bit loud!

Got this as a gift for my nephew (3), he absolutely loves it. He sees the 2 big ones as parents and the little ones as babies, and they move around his build with little pockets that are a grocery store, or car wash. Great toy. If it is on a slightly uneven surface, the bigger "bugs" can be quite noisy.
