I admit that I purchased this Starfish chair because I thought it was super cute. I was very impressed by how easy it was to assemble and how sturdy it was. I am not in shape, so I was worried that I would find balancing difficult but I adapted pretty quickly. It's fun to bounce while working, and it's great for my body too.I am very happy with my purchase.

I’m amazed at how much I love this chair. I wasn’t sure it would be comfortable for larger people, but it’s perfect! It is so sturdy and great on my carpet floor. It’s also nice for sitting on while gently bouncing my fussy baby.

A little background -- I've tried *all the chairs*. I've tried regular office chairs, "ergonomic" mesh chairs with "lumbar support", old wooden chairs with a straight back, kneeling chairs (hurts your shins), a wobble cushion on a stool, and a yoga ball.And here's are the main four principles I've found: 1) that you need a stool with a surface that "wobbles" so that your butt/back can find the correct angle on it. 2) that the surface area contact has to be large enough so that the muscles over your "sit bones" (bones in your butt) don't get sore. 3) the chair itself has to be stable, and not roll around. 4) The seat needs to be adjustable-height.A wobble cushion on an adjustable-height stool is *great*, but sadly it breaks rule 2. After half an hour, your butt hurts. While a yoga ball provides much more surface area to fix that, but it breaks rule 3 -- even the ones that come with a ring base or plastic base roll around. The base will keep it from rolling around if the ball is sitting on it by itself, but put a person on it and it might as well not be there -- at least with a 75 cm ball.Turns out this is finally the perfect solution, the only one that does everything needed. It allows you to sit with correct posture because it's a yoga ball, it doesn't leave your butt sore because it's wider than a wobble cushion, and the metal base holds it firmly in place so it doesn't roll around.I'm shocked this is basically the only product out there that satisfies all constraints! But kudos to them for designing and manufacturing it. I've finally found THE CHAIR.Note: the sizes can be confusing. The large size is advertised as a 75 cm height (which is correct), but contains a 65 cm diameter ball. This is because the base itself lifts the ball up by 10 cm. Also note that you can inflate it to different amounts for different heights, so the large 75 cm size is actually more like a range of 70-80 cm.

The frame is strong and sturdy. The wrench that comes with it to tighten the nuts/bolts is super cheap. The wheel castor is so greased up (which makes for a smooth roll) just be aware when tightening the nut, the wrench bent & slipped and sliced my hand open. Wasn’t a nasty gash, but enough to have a lot of blood. The ball that came with was so tiny that even filled to the gills it slipped right through the frame. Worthless. It’s a sturdy ball which seems to be of high quality, it’s just too small. My guess is the frame is standard for all sizes available, so it doesn’t make sense that the ball is so small. Anyway, I had a 65cm ball that I was already using, but I was too short at my desk for it to be useful, so I instead, I let some air out and replaced the ball with this one. The frame does add more height than appears so yay, I was able to make it work. The cover is nice and can be removed to be washed (but you have to remove the wheels to get it off) I’ve been using a couple weeks now and I can say it’s worth every drop of blood & dollar spent. :-) I’ve seen an improvement in my posture and my hips don’t hurt when I get up to walk anymore!

I love the look of and comfort of this ball BUT it really needs some type of net or support under the ball to keep it from sinking. Writhing a few days (fully inflated and measured with the enclosed measuring string) the ball sinks into the frame making it rest in the floor and then it won’t roll. It makes me so sad because it really is so comfortable and well made. This would be the only chair I sat on except I can’t turn to get anything behind my small group table or turn to get off the chair (which is pretty high and I’m tall).

I was looking for a ball chair to engage my core & improve posture since I’m at my desk 8-10 hours a day. This is a great choice and I’m so happy. Several colleagues asked me to text them the link to get one of their own. Easy to assemble & even inflating it with the included manual pump was quick - took just minutes to my surprise. It is Pretty, definitely a conversation piece - “I’ve never seen one like that”, healthy & fun. :)

i bought this chair to replace an old exercise ball chair from a different comany that met it's demise after many years of loyal service in my classroom. The color is rich and beautiful, jut as advertised. This chair was fairly easy to put together, though inflating it and measuring the ball was a little hard but still doable with just one person, but a second set of hands made it much easier.I initially received a defective chair that sprung a leak after only three hours, but I had filed the warranty throguh the company before hand (there is a helpful piece of paper to remind you) and reported the defect to the company directly. They wasted no time in replacing the product, and now I'm typing this from a comfy ball chair that is holding air perfectly.The chair was a little higher than I expected, but that works out well for my height (5'7"). As some of the other reviews have said, it would be a little tall for someone shorter, but it comes with both the caster wheels and shorter feet.The instructions were pretty easy to follow if you read them correctly. The fabric cover has to go on before the wheels/feet so that they can hold it in place, which would make it a little harder to clean if you wanted to completely wash the cover (it's easy to spot clean though!)Overall, I am thrilled with the product. it makes sitting at my desk much more comfortable, makesit easier to maintain good posture, and you can't fall asleep after being at work for 12 hours straight for parent/teacher conferences!

It was ok at first, way too high for me at the required height, I'm 5'6'' and couldn't touch the ground.Used it anyway, 3 months in, the ball got a puncture where it contacts with the metal frame that holds it.for 100$+ not impressed at all.

Highly recommend for reducing tailbone pain

Sadly did not cure my back pain but is comfy and easy to put together. As with other reviewers- you do need to inflate far more than you think is possible.
