We used this for a cat urn, and we're happy with it. I took one star off for the inconvenient packaging and noxious varnish fumes. If you are planning to give this box as a gift, I suggest you air it out and toss the box it comes in.Some reviewers mentioned a cute elephant keychain, but ours contained a remarkably ugly pair of earrings.

Unique little box. Great for holding important little things. Lovely finish. Because it has been stained, it has that odor, but if you will simply remove it from the packing It is sealed it, the odor will dissipate in a few days. I see where some people have exaggerated that. I have bought a number of these Rosewood boxes. They are pretty, solid carved Rosewood, and I consider this a very good buy.

I got this box to hold some important little items, and I absolutely love it! A lot of the time, wooden boxes like this one are astronomical in terms of price, but this one is very affordable, durable, and the perfect size! I highly recommend, especially if you have a collection of little items. Not to mention, it is the perfect bohemian decor item!

Pretty nice box although the stain was not rubbed in thoroughly so I had to do that myself. It is straight when closed but not when open and is a bit tough to close and open. However it is a good value for the price and perfectly adequate for the purpose I have in mind.

Great gift. I paired the trinket box with a necklace to add an extra element to the gift I was giving.

Box has really pretty designs on it, I bought it for my daughter and I'm thinking that it'd be a cool little box to keep her "treasures" in. only issue is box will not close all the way and the front looks as if t may start breaking apart :( hopefully it doesn't.

This will be perfect for my needs. I'm working on a gift for one of my cousins. I think she will be very impressed with this. When making jewelry presentation is 90% of the opinion. So I'm going to take this and fill it with chocolate gold rocks, and place her silver ring in the gold rocks in a pretty carved box. She'll love it.
